Literary Terms & Devices in English for Language Arts

"Literary terms and devices are a collection of universal artistic structures that are typical of all works of literature frequently employed by the writers to give meanings and a logical framework to their works through language. When such works are read by readers, they ultimately recognize and appreciate these literary structures. Due to their universality, they also allow the readers to compare a work of one writer to that of another and often across languages.

This first beta is the result of the first experimental attempt, and it went very well! We now have a pool of concepts based on a mapping between AGROVOC, the CAB Thesaurus and the NAL Thesaurus. An analysis of the the coverage of GACS beta with respect to AGROVOC showed that it could already be used to index AGRIS, with no significant loss of indexing concepts."
