Classification of Nuclear Materials by Grade

The Classification of Nuclear Materials by Grade is the class of nuclear materials subject to physical protection. Considering the potential risk, it is classified into grade I, grade II, and grade III. The requirements for protection can be found in the Enforcement Decree of the Radioactive Disaster Prevention Act (attached Table 2), the protection requirements for nuclear facilities, etc. (related to Article 16).

핵물질의 등급별 분류(Classification of Nuclear Materials by Grade)은 물리적 방호의 대상이 되는 핵물질의 등급이다. 잠재적 위험도를 고려하여 등급Ⅰ, 등급Ⅱ 및 등급Ⅲ으로 분류한다. 방호의 요건은 방사능방재법 시행령 [별표2] 원자력시설등의 방호요건(제16조 관련)에서 확인 가능하다.
