Business Reference Model

The Business Reference Model (BRM) classifies administrative agency tasks based on unique functions and defines classified tasks and related information. The classification system by function systematizes them into policy fields, policy areas, large functions, medium functions, small functions, and unit tasks. This system is designed to clearly define and efficiently manage the tasks performed by the government, and related data can be found in the Ministry of Public Administration and Security and the Government Organization Management Information System.

The term "functional classification of administrative affairs" (hereinafter referred to as "functional classification") means classifying the affairs of an administrative agency based on its own functions and defining information related to the classified affairs. The "classification system for each function" classifies the duties regularly performed by the government into policy fields, policy areas, major functions, medium functions, small functions, and unit tasks according to the level of function.

정부기능분류체계(Business Reference Model, BRM)는 행정기관의 업무를 고유한 기능 중심으로 분류하고, 분류된 업무와 관련 정보를 정의한다. 기능별 분류체계는 이를 정책분야, 정책영역, 대기능, 중기능, 소기능, 단위과제로 체계화한다. 이 체계는 정부가 수행하는 업무를 명확히 정의하고 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 설계되었으며, 관련 자료는 행정안전부 및 정부조직관리정보시스템에서 확인 가능하다.

“행정업무의 기능분류(이하 “기능분류”라 한다)”라 함은 행정기관의 업무를 고유한 기능을 중심으로 분류하고, 분류된 업무와 관련된 정보를 정의하는 것을 말한다. “기능별 분류체계”는 정부가 상시적으로 수행하는 업무를 기능수준에 따라 정책분야ㆍ정책영역․대기능․중기능․소기능․단위과제로 분류한다.
