Classification of Health and Medical Service Technology

The Classification of Health and Medical Service Technology is a classification system for efficiently managing information, manpower, research, and development projects related to health and medical technology and is stipulated in Article 7-2 of the Health and Medical Technology Promotion Act (Preparation of the Health and Medical Technology Classification System). When creating a health and medical technology classification system, it must be prepared in connection with the national science and technology standard classification table, and measures such as improvement shall be taken by reviewing the feasibility every three years.

보건의료기술 분류체계(Classification of Health and Medical Service Technology)는 보건의료기술 관련 정보ㆍ인력ㆍ연구ㆍ개발 사업을 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 분류체계로 보건의료기술 진흥법 제7조의2(보건의료기술 분류체계 작성)에서 규정하고 있다. 보건의료기술 분류체계 작성시에는 국가과학기술표준분류표와 연계되도록 작성해야 하며 3년주기로 타당성을 검토하여 개선 등의 조치를한다.
