Gugak Dictionary

The Dictionary of Gugak is a knowledge base in the fields of traditional Korean music, 歌, and dance.

It provides an accurate and concrete understanding of Korean traditional music and traditional dance, and provides five senses of the reality and beauty of Korean traditional music and traditional dance through various media. To this end, we intend to expand the convenience of foreigners and information-vulnerable groups so that more people can use the Korean traditional music dictionary by making the terms and description of the Korean traditional music dictionary reflect academic research results, mobilizing the optimal media (writing, sound source, board, video, etc.).

한국 전통음악과 전통춤에 관한 정확하고 구체적인 이해를 제공하며, 다양한 매체를 통해 한국 전통음악과 전통춤의 실체와 아름다움을 오감으로 접할 수 있게 합니다. 이를 위해 국악사전의 용어와 서술이 학계 연구성과를 반영하도록 하고, 그 내용을 전달하는 최적의 매체(글·음원·도판·영상 등)를 동원하며, 더 많은 분들이 국악사전을 이용할 수 있도록, 외국인 및 정보취약계층의 편의를 확장해 가고자 합니다.
