Shoulder and Elbow Dictionary

The Shoulder and Elbow Dictionary is a glossary on shoulder and elbow joints published by the Korean Association of Dogs and Joints. It published the first edition in 2008 and the second edition in 2018. Both the first and second editions were issued without receiving an International Standard Book Number (ISBN), and in the case of the second edition, the original text was downloaded from the website of the Korean Association of Dogs and Joints, but as a result of confirmation on September 4, 2024, the original text is not currently provided.

Since the publication of the first edition of the glossary in 2008, progress has been made in the field of shoulder and main joint studies, especially with the emergence of terms due to changes in new diagnosis and treatment techniques, a clearer and more detailed arrangement is needed. In order to add and unify terms related to diagnosis and treatment techniques that have changed over the past decade, Professor Kim Yoo-jin was able to publish the second edition through the hard work of the term compilation committee members such as Kim Jae-yoon, Moon Sung-hoon, Lee Doo-hyung, Jeong Seok-won, and Hyun Yoon-seok. This glossary, newly published in 2018, was based on two editions of the shoulder joint textbook, and more than 300 terms were updated and added to reflect the changed academic development over the past decade, and the terms that have been mixed were unified and described.

견관절 주관절학 용어집(Shoulder and Elbow Dictionary)은 대한견•주관절학회에서 발행한 어깨, 팔꿈치 관절 관련 용어집이다. 2008년 1판을 발행했으며, 2018년 2판을 발행했다. 1판과 2판 모두 국제표준도서번호(ISBN; International Standard Book Number) 발급 받지 않고 발행하였으며, 제 2판의 경우 대한견•주관절학회 홈페이지에서 원문 다운로드를 제공했으나 2024년 9월 4일 확인 결과 현재는 원문을 제공하지 않고 있다.

견관절 주관절학 용어집 2판 내용

2008년 제 1판 용어집이 발간된 이래 지속적인 견·주관절학 분야에 발전이 이루어 졌고, 특히 새로운 진단 및 치료 기법 등의 변화에 따른 용어의 등장과 함께 더욱 명확하고 세분화된 정리가 필요하게 되었습니다. 이에 10년간 변화된 진단과 치료 기법에 관련된 용어를 추가하고 통일하는 작업을 위하여 김유진 교수를 위원장으로 김재윤 간사, 문성훈, 이두형, 정석원, 현윤석 교수 등 용어 편찬위원들의 노고로 제 2판의 출판을 이룰 수 있었습니다. 2018년 새로이 발간된 본 용어집은 견주관절 교과서 2판을 기반으로 작성되었고 10년동안 변화된 학문의 발전을 반영하여 300여개의 용어가 업데이트되고 추가되었으며 그동안 혼용되어왔던 용어를 통일하여 기술하였습니다.
