Ontology of the historical German-language nomenclature for offices and professions

Based on the classification of occupations (KldB) by the Federal Employment Agency and the Federal Statistical Office from 2010. This in turn is based on the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) by the International Labor Office (ILO 2008). The KldB was revised and expanded in parts at the Historical Data Center in Halle, making it usable for the classification of historical occupations. More than 44,000 historical occupations are taxonomically classified in the OhdAB and can be sorted into occupational areas, main occupational groups, or variously differentiated occupational groups.

Beruht auf der Klassifizierung der Berufe (KldB) der Bundesagentur für Arbeit und des Statistischen Bundesamtes aus dem Jahr 2010. Dieser liegt wiederum die International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) des International Labour Office zugrunde (ILO 2008). Die KldB wurde am Historischen Datenzentrum in Halle überarbeitet und in Teilen erweitert und damit für die Klassifizierung historischer Berufe nutzbar gemacht. Mehr als 44.000 historische Berufe werden in der OhdAB taxonomisch geordnet und können in Berufsbereiche, Berufshauptgruppen oder unterschiedlich differenzierten Berufsgruppen geordnet werden
