Dangerous Goods

Dangerous Goods refers to substances or articles that may cause harm to people or aircraft due to the potential release of explosive, toxic, corrosive, or flammable gases or vapors, in accordance with ICAO Annex 18 and the Aviation Safety Act. Furthermore, dangerous goods must be declared as such, and transported in compliance with strict procedures governing packaging, labeling, and other requirements as stipulated under the Aviation Act; violations may be subject to a fine or administrative penalty of up to 20 million Korean won.

항공위험물(Dangerous Goods)는 국제민간항공기구 부속서18 및 항공안전법에 따라 폭발성, 독성, 부식성, 인화성 가스 혹은 증기를 방출할 가능성이 있어 사람이나 항공기에해를 입힐 수 있는 물질 또는 물품을 의미한다. 또한 위험물은 항공법에서 정한대로 위험물임을 신고하고 포장, 표기 및 그 밖에 엄격한 절차에 따라 운송이 되어야 하며, 위반시 2천만원이하의 벌금 또는 과태료에 처할 수 있다.
