IANA Language Subtag Registry

The IANA Language Subtag Registry contains language tags (abbreviated language codes) as defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). These language tags are used in a number of modern computing standards, such as HTTP, HTML, XML, and RDF. Components of language tags are drawn from other standards such as ISO 639, ISO 15924 and ISO 3166-1.
