Korean Terminology of Parasites

The Korean Society of Parasite Studies wanted to increase the effectiveness of the parasite's academic vocabulary by adding terms based on the Korean Medical Association's "Fiveth Book of Medicine (2009)" and examining the validity of some terms. After completing this review, the fourth album of parasitic terms is a compilation of "Parasite Korean names" and "Parasite General Terms" and added terms to this book, referring to several recently published parasites, and incorporating new terms sent by members.

대한기생충학회에서는 대한의사협회 발간 “의학용어집 5집 (2009)”을 토대로 용어를 추가하고 일부 용어의 타당성을 검토하는 한편 다른 전공분야에서 정리된 용어까지 비교 검토함으로써 기생충학 학술용어집의 효용성을 높이고자 하였다. 이번에 검토 작업을 마친 기생충학 학술용어 제4집은 “기생충의 우리말 이름 (제2집)”과 “기생충학 일반용어 (제3집)”를 집대성한 것으로서 여기에 최근 출판된 여러 기생충학 관련 책자를 참고하여 용어를 추가하였고, 또한 회원들이 보내온 새로운 용어를 종합하여 수록하였다.
