Encyclopedia of Korean Folk Beliefs:Shamanism

The Korean Folklore and Faith Dictionary has set its direction to strengthen the independence of individual headlines. These directions are designed to address the topic of the heading, but also to describe the peripheral matters that are important to understand the heading, so that the control of the table alone can comprehensively and in depth understand the content. In other words, the independence of individual headings was strengthened without stratifying the volume and scope of the content.

The "Muksok Sinpyeon" and "Village Sinpyeon" were compiled in this direction, and the newly published home faith episode also followed this direction. In other words, a total of 248 headings were selected in seven categories, divided into sacrificial, physical, ritual, sacrificial, data, and terms.

The overall composition of the dictionary is the same as that of the "Muksangpyeon" and the "Muksangpyeon." In other words, the table control arrangement was arranged in alphabetical order, and the table of contents was largely arranged in alphabetical order and by field. Kanada charye is a common dictionary search method that provides relatively convenient access to the title word. At the same time, the combination of turns by field is designed to make it easy to grasp the overall composition of the "fake mind" and to allow readers to see the areas of interest at a glance. For example, if you are interested in offering, you can see the offering at a glance through each field's turn, and through this, you can find the title word.

<한국민속신앙사전>은 개별 표제어의 독립성을 강화하는 쪽으로 편찬방향을 잡았다 이러한 방향은 표제어의 주제에 맞춰 기술하되 표제어를 이해하는 데에 중요한 주변적인 사항도 함께 기술하여, 해당 표제어만으로도 종합적이고 심층적으로 내용을 이해할 수 있도록 기획한 것이다. 즉 내용의 분량과 범위를 계층화하지 않고 개별 표제어의 독립성을 강화하였다.

'무속신앙편'과 '마을신앙편'이 이러한 방향으로 편찬되었고, 이번에 발간되는 가정신앙편 역시 이러한 편창 방향을 따랐다. 즉, 가정신앙을 구성하고 있는 분야를 중심으로 표제어를 선정하였는데 제의, 신격, 신체, 제구, 제물, 자료, 용어로 나누어 7개 분야 총 248개의 표제어를 추출하였다.

사전의 전체 구성은 '무속신앙편'과 '마을신앙편'의 구성과 동일하다. 즉, 표제어 배열은 가나다순으로 하였으며, 목차는 크게 가나다 차례와 분야별 차례를 병행하였다. 가나다 차례는 일반적인 사전 찾기 방식으로 비교적 편리하게 표제어에 접근할 수 있는 방식이다. 그러면서도 분야별 차례를 병행한 것은 '가정신앙편'의 전체적인 구성을 쉽게 파악할 수 있으며, 독자가 관심 있는 분야를 한눈에 볼 수 있도록 하기 위함이다. 가령 제물에 관심 있는 독자라면 분야별 차례를 통해 제물을 한눈에 파악할 수 있으며 이를 통해서도 표제어를 찾을 수 있도록 했다.
