National Classification of Biological Resources

The National Classification of Biological Resources is a classification of domestic biological resources established in the Korean Natural History Research Information System, and is used for resource searches.

The National Natural History Research Information System has been established, which allows users to view various national natural history resources such as biological samples, genetic resources, journals, papers, videos, photographs, and audio stored by universities, research institutes, science museums, and private collectors.

Develops the National Natural History Research Information System (NARIS) that can network national natural history resources to retrieve data, and contains vast amounts of data that can be easily found by classification, theme, and ecology through NARIS, and can be used by elementary school students, university professors, and researchers.

국가생물자원분류는 국가자연사연구종합정보시스템에 구축한 국내생물자원의 분류이며, 자원검색시 사용된다.

대학, 연구소, 과학관, 박물관, 개인수집가가 보관하고 있는 생물표본, 유전자원, 저널, 논문, 영상물, 사진, 오디오 등 다양한 국가 자연사 자원을 인터넷으로 볼 수 있는 ‘국가자연사연구종합정보시스템'을 구축하였다.

국가 자연사 자원을 네트워크화해 각종 데이터를 검색 할 수 있는 국가자연사연구종합정보시스템(NARIS)을 개발하고 국가 자연사 자원을 NARIS를 통해 분류별, 테마별, 생태별로 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있고 초등학생에서부터 대학교수, 연구자까지 활용할 수 있는 방대한 자료를 담았다
