The Gale Medical Personnel, Occupations and Services Thesaurus is a subset of the master Gale Health and Medicine Thesaurus in the narrower domain of healthcare professionals and their assistants, healthcare educators and researchers, healthcare services, healthcare service administrators, support personnel, and public health workers and officials. Subject descriptors also feature items related to the education and training of personnel in a particular medical discipline (e.g., nursing school) as well as veterinarians and the veterinary works and the services they offer.
