The Gale Medical Equipment, Technology and Procedures Thesaurus is a subset of the master Gale Health and Medicine Thesaurus in the narrower domain of equipment, supplies (except drugs), technologies, and procedures used to diagnose, treat, or prevent human or animal diseases and disorders. This thesaurus also includes medical specialties (e.g., Obstetrics). All thesaural relationships (BT/NT, RT, USE/UF) are included, and some terms have scope notes.
