Gale Mathematics Thesaurus

The Gale Mathematics Thesaurus is a subset of the master Gale Science Thesaurus. This thesaurus includes terms associated with numbers and the use of numbers to count, measure, represent, or describe physical or abstract objects or the relationships or interrelations between such objects. Specific areas include number theory, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, mathematical analysis, and related fields. All thesaural relationships (BT/NT, RT, USE/UF) are included, and some terms have scope notes. The thesaurus contains 781 preferred terms/concepts (2019) and is continually updated.
