Gale Commerce Thesaurus

The Gale Commerce Thesaurus is a subset of the master Gale Business Thesaurus in the narrower domain of the exchange of goods or commodities between different countries, or between different regions of the same country. This includes terms related to international trade, exports, imports, tariffs, balance of trade, free trade and protection, customs administration, interstate commerce, freight, shipping, trucking, commercial aviation, commercial policy, and commercial treaties. All thesaural relationships (BT/NT, RT, USE/UF) are included, and some terms have scope notes. The thesaurus contains 280 preferred terms/concepts (2019) and is continually updated.
