Gale Agriculture Thesaurus

The Gale Agriculture Thesaurus is a subset of the master Gale Business Thesaurus in the narrower domain of the science or art of cultivating the soil, producing crops, and raising livestock. The Agriculture Thesaurus includes terms related to farms and farming, soils, seeds, crops, plowing, planting, irrigation, harvesting, fertilizers, herbicides, agricultural equipment and machinery, horticulture, viticulture, gardening, forests and forestry, logging, fishing and fisheries, ranching, and dairy farming. All thesaural relationships (BT/NT, RT, USE/UF) are included, and some terms have scope notes. The thesaurus contains 869 preferred terms/concepts (2019) and is continually updated.
