DBK-Classification

"DBK var det første bud på et sammenhængende klassifikationssystem for byggeriet i Danmark og blev udviklet i perioden 2003-2006. DBK er et fælles system til klassificering af information om byggeri og bygninger – udviklet til Det Digitale Byggeri. DBK afløser det gamle SfB-system og forskellige brancheorienterede eller hjemmegjorte systemer. DBK er efterfølgende afløst af CCS. Klassifikation er nødvendigt for at holde styr på de mange forskellige typer information, der indgår i et byggeprojekt eller i forbindelse med bygningsdrift. DBK-klassifikationssystemet etablerer en grundlæggende informationsstruktur, en sammenhængende systematik og et fælles begrebsapparat, som sikrer en præcis kommunikation. Samtidig identificerer det ethvert stykke information entydigt, så det er nemt at genfinde og genkende. Det er en afgørende forudsætning for at kunne digitalisere byggeriets processer - og udgør samtidig grundlaget for at udarbejde kravspecifikationer til udvikling af it-værktøjer til byggeriet. DBK fastlægger rammer for at kunne klassificere alle dele af byggeriet i hele dets livscyklus – fra program til bortskaffelse. Systemet klassificerer altså ikke blot bygningsdele, bygninger og rum, men også aktører, processer, dokumenter, erfarings- og byggevideninformation mv. DBK er tillige væsentligt mere komplekst end fx SfB, idet DBK anskuer en bygningsdel ud fra forskellige aspekter eller synsvinkler. Bestemt af formålet opererer DBK således med et produktaspekt (hvad objektet består af), et formaspekt (hvordan det ser ud), et funktionsaspekt (hvordan det anvendes) og et placeringsaspekt (hvordan det indbygges)."
