Thesaurus craft

"Der ursprüngliche Thesaurus bestand aus einer ÜBERSICHT (nur Oberbegriffe, = zugleich Stellordnung der Bibliothek, Ablagesystematik ), einem INDEX (Alphaliste aller Schlagworte) und einer SYSTEMATIK (Übersicht mit allen Unterbegriffen, Synonymen, verwandten Begriffen), dazu eine Gebrauchsanweisung für Thesaurus und Datenbank.

Aus Platzgründen werden hier nur die Hauptbegriffe, d. h. die ÜBERSICHT, präsentiert (mit einem eigenen Index); der systematische Teil enthält 'unter' den Hauptbegriffen die eigentlichen Schlagworte. Das Ganze war in Form verschiedener Wortlisten (Index, Synonymliste) in eine Volltextdatenbank eingebunden und diente zugleich als Ablage- und Bibliothekssystematik."
