        "The Dictionary of Korean Food Culture is a dictionary created by the Korean Cultural Center Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, starting in 2016, as part of the Korean Food Culture Promotion Project. The dictionary focuses not on food-related information but on the historical and cultural significance of Korean food, encompassing various fields such as literature, proverbs, history, rituals, and folklore. It started with 726 entries at the time of its creation, introduced 1,081 entries in the 2018 revised edition, and was further updated and supplemented in 2020. As of April 2, 2024, it includes 1,232 entries.\n\nThe major categories in the Dictionary of Korean Food Culture are food, ingredients, literature, literary works, artworks, and rituals, totaling six categories. These categories can be viewed when browsing the dictionary entries, but they are not used for search purposes.\n\n*In March 2024, Professor Ju Young-ha of the Academy of Korean Studies, along with 15 other experts, supplemented the content of an online dictionary and published a printed version."
