Humanterm

"Humanterm es el resultado de un proyecto de I+D+i realizado con financiación de la Universidad Europea de Madrid con una duración de un año (2012-2013). El objetivo general del proyecto Humanterm es la creación de un glosario terminológico plurilingüe (español-inglés-francés-chino-ruso) para la traducción en el ámbito humanitario que contribuya a mejorar la escasez de recursos electrónicos. Este objetivo se desglosa, a su vez, en dos subobjetivos: • Crear un glosario terminológico plurilingüe a partir de la información contenida en los documentos del ámbito humanitario recopilados.

FAO TERM PORTAL

"The TERM PORTAL has been created to store, manage and update concepts, terms and definitions related to the various fields of FAO’s activity. The idea is to offer a single search window for all glossaries, in one or several languages, as a mechanism to enhance the exchange of information and facilitate communication."

TERMPOST

"TERMPOST is the Universal Postal Union's official terminology database created from the manual Vocabulaire polyglotte, available on paper from 1952 to 2003. It contains data in 8 languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Definitions are currently provided in English and French only. TERMPOST contains a selection of postal terms and expressions drawn from the UPU Acts and publications. It also includes everyday vocabulary used within the postal sector."

TERMDAT

"TERMDAT is an extensive multilingual specialist dictionary, providing a versatile aid for communication, text composition and translation. The database is also a means for recording and making available Swiss legal and administrative terminology along with other terminology from the public sector. Terms are available in Switzerland’s four national languages – German, French, Italian and Romansh – and in English. (...) The terms are recorded in thematic glossaries compiled in collaboration with experts from the Federal Administration or from the private sector.

Euskalterm

"UZEI, Terminologia eta Lexikografia Zentroko hiztegi guztietako fitxa terminologikoak biltzen ditu. Fitxak sailkatuta daude, gaiaren arabera. Euskaltzaindiaren arauen arabera eta batzorde teknikoetan eta Terminologia Batzordean hartutako erabakien arabera eguneratzen da. UZEIk egindako hiztegi berriak bertan integratzen dira. Gaiaren arabera, fitxen gaurkotasun-balioa aldakorra da. Adibidez, urte asko pasatu dira Politika, Filosofia edo Fisika hiztegiak egin zirenetik. Gai horiek ez dira sistematikoki landu geroztik.

"This covers all lexica and sections of vocabulary drawn up by UZEI, Basque Centre for Terminology and Lexicography. It currently holds more than 100,000 terminological records, with the equivalent terms in Spanish, French, English and Latin (in taxonomy). Terms are constantly updated according to the rules of Euskaltzaindia (Royal Academy of the Basque Language) and the proposals for terminology normalization (technical committees and Terminology Commission)."

NATOTerm

"NATOTerm contains non-classified military terminology, as well as non-military terminology relevant to NATO. NATOTerm is available in both NATO official languages, i.e. English and French, and is maintained by the NATO Terminology Office, which is part of the NATO Standardization Office. This database is the result of a data migration from the former NATO Terminology Management System (NTMS), which is expected to be completed by the end of 2015. The NATO Terminology Office, which administers the database, has concentrated on the terminology that is 'NATO Agreed' first.

Sierterm

"SIERTERM es el resultado de un proyecto de I+D+i realizado con financiación de la Universidad Europea de Madrid con una duración de 1 año. El objetivo general del proyecto SIERTERM es la creación de un glosario terminológico trilingüe para la traducción en los ámbitos de los Sistemas Inteligentes y Energías Renovables que contribuya a solventar la escasez de recursos electrónicos.
