The Art and Architecture Thesaurus

"The AAT is a structured vocabulary currently containing around 131,000 terms and other information about concepts. Among these terms, one is flagged as the preferred term, or descriptor. There may be multiple descriptors reflecting usage in multiple languages. FISH Event Types Thesaurus

"A development of the ALGAO events wordlist. The thesaurus is an indexing tool to be used for recording archaeological and architectural investigative, data collection exercises; from intrusive interventions into the resource to non damaging survey events. The Event Types Thesaurus includes 128 terms. Of these, there are 83 preferred terms, 37 non-preferred terms and 8 non-index terms. The terms are divided into two classes: INTRUSIVE EVENT and NON INTRUSIVE EVENT.
