"Aquest lèxic recull prop de quatre-cents termes que designen els additius alimentaris autoritzats a l’Estat espanyol d’acord amb la normativa vigent. Cada terme inclou les denominacions en català i els equivalents en castellà, francès i anglès, a més del número d’identificació i les seves classes funcionals més habituals, les quals també es poden consultar a través de l’Accés temàtic.

"This lexicon contains about four hundred terms that designate food additives authorized in Spain in accordance with current regulations. Each term includes the equivalent names in Catalan and Spanish, French and English, in addition to the number identification and functional common classes, which can also be accessed via the Access theme.

FAO Glossary of Biotechnology for Food and Agriculture

"The 'Glossary of Biotechnology for Food and Agriculture' is a revised, augmented version of the 'Glossary of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering' published by FAO in 1999. The idea for such a collection of terminology associated with the rapidly expanding fields related to or deriving from biotechnology and genetic engineering, was stimulated by the difficulty of communicating effectively in discussions at intergovernmental level. On various occasions, simple differences of interpretation of terminology have threatened to de-rail negotiations of international importance.

AGROVOC consists of over 34,000 concepts available in 23 languages: Arabic, Chinese, Czech, English, French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lao, Malay, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Telugu, Thai, Turkish and Ukrainian.
