Wortnetz Kultur

"Wortnetz Kultur (WNK) ist der polyhierarchische Sachthesaurus des LVR-Dezernates Kultur und Landschaftliche Kulturpflege im Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR). Seit 2009 entsteht ein breitgefächertes Vokabular mit den thematischen Schwerpunkten Kulturlandschaft, Archäologie, Kulturanthropologie sowie Denkmalpflege und Kunstgeschichte. Momentan stehen rund 15.000 Begriffe zur inhaltlichen Erschließung in unterschiedlichen Fachdatenbanken und Portalen zur Verfügung.

Cairo Gazetteer

"Le référentiel Cairo Gazetteer est un outil pour l’identification et l’indexation des fonds documentaires relatifs aux monuments du Caire, qui soulèvent des difficultés de traitement en raison des multiples variantes issues de la translittération, en caractères latins, des toponymes arabes. Sous la forme d’une table de concordance qui recense les variantes orthographiques des noms des monuments, ce référentiel trilingue (français, arabe, anglais), au format SKOS, permet d’identifier, de décrire et de localiser les 600 édifices classés du Caire."

"The Cairo Gazetteer is a tool for the identification and indexing of documentary collections relating to Cairo's monuments, which raise difficulties of treatment because of the many variants resulting from the transliteration into Latin characters of Arabic toponyms. The form of a concordance table which lists the orthographic variants of the names of the monuments, this trilingual reference frame (French, Arabic, English), in SKOS format, identifies, describes and locates the 600 classified buildings in Cairo. "
